| Requirements
|
An Engineer works within a design team to drive the
development of new products. This person would be responsible
for complete design as assigned by the Project Manager,
which may include hardware design, working with the
CAD system, and firmware design. This person would work
in all stages of development, including conceptualization,
feasibility testing, design, and final documentation.
This person may be expected to utilize CAD tools, including
schematic entry, and FPGA design tools, include hardware
description languages (HDL). Specifically, this person
will be involved in design dealing with video over IP
(internet protocol). This person will be expected to
work well with other engineers to develop creative solutions
for this emerging industry.

| Experience |
Experience
with digital video and audio, as well as the MPEG standard,
is required. The candidate must demonstrate substantial
experience with video over IP. Other relevant experience
would include component-level digital and analog hardware
design and analysis, experience with FPGA design (Xilinx
or Altera), and knowledge of Verilog or VHDL.
