MRD Contribution & Distribution MPEG2/H.264/HEVC Receiver Decoders
Sencore is proud to announce the availability of HEVC decoding in its best-in-class MRD 4400 and MRD 5800 distribution and contribution receiver decoders. Existing and new MRD owners can now upgrade the MRD’s robust MPEG2/H.264 decode engine to support HEVC Main & Main 10 profiles, Level 4.0/High-Tier and Level 4.1/Main-Tier, including: 4:2:2/4:2:0, 10-bit/8-bit, and HD/SD formats up to 1080p.

MPEG2/H.264/HEVC Compression Analysis

DMG 3200 Digital Media Gateway
The DMG platform supports receiving, re-multiplexing, processing and transmitting content in all types of transport stream applications, including IP Multicast/Unicast distribution, Over-the-Air RF channel collection, Satellite Content backhaul, legacy ASI conversion, and Broadcast retransmission applications. The DMG is available in high-density 4RU and 1RU versions that include dual hot-swappable power supplies, and advanced monitor, control and redundancy features.

Occasional use facilities seldom have extra space to spare.  Sencore’s industry-first 4:2:2 IRD-on-a-card, makes it possible to receive any contribution feed (up to 4:2:2 10-bit AVC) directly from satellite or IP with up to 10 channels in a 2RU frame.  The new aG series also continues Sencore’s legacy of dense monitoring decoders with IP and terrestrial RF reception.

atlasGear High-Density Receive and Decode System
Sencore has expanded its openGear high-density receive and decode system with new decode and turnaround cards and I/O options.  The new AG 5800, AG 4400, and AG 2600 cards support ASI, MPEG/IP, Satellite and RF inputs with DVB-CI and BISS descrambling options.  A 2RU AG frame with dual hot-swap power supplies can hold up to 10 independent channels of MPEG-TS processing and 4:2:2/4:2:0 A/V decoding.  Each card serves its own web-GUI for monitoring and control while the “Dashboard” view makes it easy to manage hundreds of cards with ease.
