NES Communications recently installed two Sencore SMD 989 DVB-S/S2 satellite modulators into their newest HD digital satellite uplink truck. We are happy to share that at this year’s HD World Show NES Comm and Sencore are providing live demonstrations of the vehicle’s full range of capabilities --including the SMD 989’s ability to modulate 8PSK, 16APSK and 32 APSK formats.

The SMD 989 Satellite Modulator is a great choice for mobile satellite uplinks because of its capability of providing either single or multi-stream modulation, frequency agile IP output, an optional L-Band up-converter, plus two bays for housing one or two independent modulators. This provides maximum flexibility by offering multiple inputs such as ASI or IP, plus it is back by the best support in the industry.

If you are planning to attend the show, be sure to visit the Sencore booth #936 and check out the live demos being provided in the NES Communications truck just outside the main entrance of the convention center. We hope to see you there!
