Sencore is excited to announce a new original-equipment-manufacturer (OEM) partnership with local energy company Peppermint Energy. This new partnership allows us both to manufacture a new, exciting, portable, solar energy device.
“Sencore is excited about the market potential for Peppermint Energy’s products,” said Thomas Stingley, President of Sencore. “We are pleased to team our manufacturing capabilities up with another Sioux Falls company to create a solar energy source that will provide more high-quality, original, made-in-America products. We look forward to a continued partnership and will be supporting Peppermint as the demand for solar-powered products grows.”
Focused on the emerging, personal-scale renewable energy industry, Peppermint Energy is currently commercializing more than just this solar energy source with Sencore. Its proprietary products aim at solving the electricity access problem for the 3 billion people worldwide who lack reliable electricity as well as the 80 million people in the United States whose active outdoor lifestyle could benefit from portable energy sources. With products focused on solar technologies, the company delivers portable energy sources strong enough to power small refrigeration units, televisions, and lighting, depending on a customer’s needs.
By partnering with Sencore, Peppermint Energy hopes to get another solar energy source into more hands worldwide, as well as to provide better support for customers through the process.
“We were looking for a local partner to help accelerate our time to market and provide quality and engineering support,” said Chris Maxwell, President of Peppermint Energy. “Sencore’s strong product manufacturing expertise, state-of-the-art facility, and years of experience provide a great resource where we can be hands-on right here in Sioux Falls.”
