Obtaining a quotation from SMS for your product/assembly is a very simple process:

1. Call SMS and explain your needs.
2. Send the required information to SMS.
3. The SMS Contract Manufacturing Coordinator will work with you to verify the information and prepare a quotation for you to review.

Quotation Turnaround Time: Consignment (Labor Only), CAD and Fabrication jobs 1-2 weeks Turnkey PCB/Electronic assembly jobs 3-4 weeks Information Requirements for SMS to Prepare a Quotation Ideally, SMS requires the following information to prepare an accurate quotation. However, if some of the information is difficult to obtain, contact SMS to see if we can be of any assistance. This list will vary with the specific job requested and is not necessarily all inclusive. Customer company name, contact name, location and phone number. Description of product. Type of job to be requested. (Consignment, turnkey, or combination.) Complete Bill Of Materials including part descriptions and schematic references. (If a turnkey job, will also need parts manufacturer name and part number.) Indication of which parts to be supplied by Customer if partial turnkey. Schematics and legends for all PC boards or other electrical/electronic assemblies. Assembly drawing(s). Print(s) for fabricated parts. Estimated annual volume. Expected lot sizes for prototypes and/or production. First expected customer need date and/or projected start date. Sample part/assembly (if available). For CAD quotes only: Completed PCB Design Checklist.
