- Low-speed ASI (<8 Mbit/s) or static SDI test-pattern generation: standard USB Port
- Standard ASI (<100 Mbit/s): USB 2.0 Port
- Full-range ASI or SDI: USB 2.0 Port + suitable USB- 2.0 host controller in the PC
