CA780 CABLEIZER Metallic Cable Analyzer

Overview

The CA780 CABLEIZER Metallic Cable Analyzer — Quickly and easily locate defects in all metallic cables with a highly sensitive analyzer and easy-to-read LCD display!

The CA780 locates even minor faults due to superior sensitivity. Broken or damaged shielding and loose or corroded connectors can be easily located. The CA780 combines the ease-of-use with high accuracy and portability.

The CA780 is a TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer); measurements include: cable length, VOP (velocity of propagation), impedance, VSWR (ratio of maximum voltage to minimum voltage on the cable), Delta distance and Delta return loss. Cable signature displays may be stored in memory and later recalled for reference or printed directly to your serial compatible printer.

Features

check Minimizes downtime by accurately pinpointing cable faults or shorts
check Automatically determines the length of a buried cable or spools for accurate documentation and verification
check Automatically determines the VOP of a known length of cable with no calculations or interpretation errors
check Positively identifies the exact distance to cable faults, the first time, every time
check Stores all types of cable signatures for system documentation and future system troubleshooting reference
check The CA780 is built tough to stand up to field operation
