S802R-300 Color Graphics 300 MHz Video Generator

Overview

The S802R-300 Color Graphics 300 MHz Video Generator generates precise video test signals for the design, production, installation and calibration of computer, consumer, medical, military and other products.

The S802R-300 is a multi-media video signal generator for testing CRTs, flat panels, projectors and TVs including HDTV. The S802BT Video Generator is optimal for DTV, digital and analog displays and allows production and engineering users to create the most complex test images. You get the flexibility required to meet a tough production budget with the wide range of outputs the S802BT offers. And a PCMCIA slot makes it easy to copy one generator to another.

HDMI 1.1 support is available now. With the new improvements, the 802-series continues its legacy of offering a low cost solution for conducting a broad range of functional tests. These tests complement the transport-layer tests, conducted in compliance labs, which usually require more expensive equipment.

Features

check Precision high bandwidth analog video generator with 300 MHz analog video rate. Programmable, precision HD15, HDTV timings with YPrPb/RGB output.
check Built-in computer formats. Over 150 popular video formats including VESA, ATSC, EIA-770, SMPTE, NTSC and PAL.
check EDID configurable through VGA, DVI or HDMI interface. The generator filters formats in accordance with the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) it receives and processes from the display. Uses EDID for DDC auto-configuration.
check Test images. Over 150 built-in test images let you accurately adjust a display or projector to the same accuracy as the original factory settings. Images test color, size, linearity, convergence, focus and more.
check Video Interfaces. VGA, DVI-I, LVDS, HDMI, Special Sync (S/S), S-Video, Composite video BNC, Component video BNC.
check VGM™ (Video Generator Manager) software. Virtual control panel operation under MS Windows®. Perform all functions including format and image selection and editing, plus control of sync and video gating.
check HDMI 1.1. Output with Type A connector, includes HDCP production keys.
check Computer Interfaces. RS-232 for computer connections; GPIB to generate a programmable video signal source; USB to download bitmap images from a computer, or used in place of the serial interface; PCMCIA to backup, transfer from one generator to another, or store bitmap images.
check Options Available. S800R-300 offers the following options: HDCP, TV, BNC, GPIB, LVDS, DVI-1 Tx, DVI-2 Tx, DVI-2 Analyzer, HDMI Tx, HDMI Analyzer
