8 VSB, ASI Input/Composite Output Receiver/Decoder...

Sencore's aG4803 is a receiver decoder card with multiple channel, high-density, multi-format decoding capabilities. The 8VSB/ASI to ASI/Composite receiver decoder card enables providers to receive ATSC broadcast signals and output those signals via ASI and Composite Video.

This series of receiver decoder cards are used within the openGearTM chassis. With the open architecture of the openGearTM system, the multi-format decoding functionality of Sencore's award winning Modular Receiver Decoder (MRD) can be easily integrated with a wide range of solutions available from multiple companies each specializing in their own technologies.

  • Multi-Format SD/HD MPEG2 & H.264 Decoder
    Future proof off-air turn around applications with multi-format support on one card
  • Composite Video Output
    Output Composite Video with the re-created NTSC VANC data (closed captions, XDS [from 608 data or from PSIP tables] and AMOL/Gemstar [SCTE127])
  • Manual or AFD Triggered Down-conversion
    Fix the output format to the preferred center-cut, letterbox, or anamorphic modes. Or, switch formats on the fly with support for the Active Format Descriptor (AFD)
  • ASI Input
    Automatic redundancy switching from 8VSB to ASI from off-air to fiber fed back-up
  • ASI Output
    Simultaneous ASI output to facilitate transport stream analysis or as an input directly to a stat-mux
  • Remote Access
    View multiple chassis and multiple cards simultaneously with the DashBoard™ application. Integrate monitoring and control into any network management system with the available SNMP MIB
  • Easily transition to all digital ATSC broadcasts while supporting the needs for extended analog signal carriage
  • Receive ATSC broadcasts and demodulate to ASI for feeding a stat-mux while monitoring programs via NTSC.
