The AL2000 performs transcoding for:

Broadcast Quality real-time audio and video transcoding, without any frame drop. The transcoding operation can include a high quality picture re-size. The AL2000 is perfectly suited for Video-over-IP broadcasting. Thanks to its high level of integration, AL2000 allows service providers to significantly reduce their transmission costs. The device is packaged in a single rack unit (1RU) and handles several independent transcoding channels simultaneously.
