The MPEG Scan application supports MPEG2 transport streams, media exchange format (MXF) wrappers, and MPEG2 program streams. In addition, it lets broadcasters perform both objective and subjective testing, including TR 101 290 priority 1 and 2 testing, multiplex and rate analyses, audio-level testing, template checking, and video freeze/black frame detection.
