TSM 1770 Transport Stream Monitor

Overview

The TSM 1770 Transport Stream Monitor allows you to monitor compressed audio, video, and data services, in real-time, on any terrestrial boadcast, cable head-end, satellite feed, or telco network. Plus, the TSM 1770 provides detailed MPEG-2 analysis for complete system confidence.

Features

  • Monitor in Person or Remotely, 1 to 4 Transport Streams, simultaneously.
  • Provides thumbnail decoding of the video for quick verification of all services being provided.
  • Provides, in real time, the TR 101290 tests for MPEG, DVB and ATSC standards to ensure the quality of your digital signal. Can also be customized to meet your specific monitoring needs.
  • Offers a variety of signal inputs including: SMPTE310, ASI or 8 VSB, QAM, and IP depending on your system requirements.
  • Provides a decoded picture for every video program present, plus the video and audio elementary stream information for quick verification that the different audio services are present and properly encoded.
  • Monitors the Bitrate of all PID.s and displays their value in real time to verify bandwidth allocation. Plus, the PID bitrate history can be exported for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Verifies the Presence, Syntax, and Timing of each DVB and ATSC table as required, plus verifies the CRC is correct for each table to ensure it was not corrupted during transmission.
  • Provides Stream Recording that can be triggered by user-defined errors and/or conditions, plus log in real time all errors for future reference or analysis.Provides Web-based Interface for easy remote access.
