FAST S2 Advanced Satellite Pointer


Overview

The FAST S2 is specifically designed to meet the requirements of satellite installers and operators who need to quickly adapt to rapidly changing digital satellite technology. The FAST S2 provides guided dish alignment and steps the user through the operation. Multiple transponders can then be tested to ensure optimal dish alignment for best possible reception and reliability.

  • Complete tuning capabilities from 930 MHz to 2.25 GHz for testing any digital or analog satellite signal.  The FAST S2 will tune to C-band, KU-band and KA-band.
  • Fully demodulates DSS, DVB-S and DVB-S2, QPSK, 8PSK, SCPC, and MCPC signals to fit a wide range of  applications.
  • Configurable satellite channel planning allows you to setup for your specific location. Channel plans are  easily modified to match any location on the globe through the easy to use SMART program and  USB interface.
  • Automatic signal quality analysis, plus pre/post BER, MER, EVM, Noise Margin, and Average Power  Measurements.
  • Lightweight and easy-to-use design making it the perfect unit for everyday installation and  troubleshooting.
