The ISF-C two-day course teaches the science of light and color and how the human eye reacts to the images it sees. It is an exciting, comprehensive, hands-on course for those who strive for perfection in producing visual images.

An examination is provided at the end of the course for those
wanting to become ISF Commercial Certified and attain membership
in the elite community of display experts recognized around the
world as working to the highest standards.

Alan Brawn is a principal of Brawn Consulting, an audio visual consulting, training, educational development, and market intelligence company with national exposure to major manufacturers and integrators in the industry. He was formerly President of Telanetix and previously National Business Development Manager and National Product Marketing Manager, Pro AV Group, Samsung Electronics. Brawn is an AV industry veteran with experience spanning over 2 decades including management of a Pro AV systems integration company for 7 years, and one of the founding members of Hughes-JVC back in the early 1990s. He is a recognized author for leading AV industry magazines such as Systems Contractor News, Electrograph Emerge, Display Daily, Digital Signage Quarterly, and Rental & Staging. Brawn has been an Imaging Science Foundation fellow and instructor since 1994, and co-founder of ISF Commercial. He holds CTS certification, is a CTS Prep instructor, and is a member of InfoComm’s PETC council as well as being an adjunct faculty member of that organization. He was the recipient of the Pro AV Hall of Fame recognition from RAVe in 2004.

 

Jonathan Brawn is a principal of Brawn Consulting, an audiovisual consulting, educational development, and marketing firm, based in Vista, California. Brawn Consulting has a national footprint with connection to the major manufacturers and integrators in the commercial audiovisual industry. Prior to this, Jonathan was Director of Technical Services for Visual Appliances, an Aliso Viejo CA based firm that manufactures ZeroBurn plasma display technology, and successfully ran his own audiovisual integration group, Brawn & Associates, serving the residential and commercial audiovisual markets in southern California. Jonathan literally grew up in the AV industry, with over 12 years of experience in technology, design, and educational development. Starting with Hughes JVC in the early 90’s, Jonathan worked alongside his father Alan in creating and building training programs for the AV industry, with featured programs created for InfoComm, and major manufacturers and dealers across the nation, specializing in technical, sales, and marketing development. Jonathan is a co-founder of ISF-Commercial, and has extensive experience in AV systems design and integration, as well as expertise in the development of educational development programs.
