Sencore, Inc., a leader in MPEG-2 service test and delivery announces an affordable all-in-one portable MPEG test solution with standard RF, serial TS, and IP inputs.

Sioux Falls, SD, April 1, 2005 - The new MAP1850 MPEG Service Analyzer is a powerful MPEG analysis tool box, perfect for on-the-spot analysis or problem-spot monitoring, logging, and triggered recording. With its standard inputs the MPEG Service Analyzer can easily be used in any Broadcast, Cable, or Telco Network. Through its web based user interface the MPEG Service Analyzer can be used locally or remotely to see the video, parse out the contents, and analyze your MPEG transport streams.

Has the Input You Need

When you are trying to track down today’s network problems you are faced with needing several different types of inputs in order to find the root cause.  The MPEG Service Analyzer comes standard with the most common inputs, including: RF (QAM and 8-VSB), ASI, and IP (standard RJ45 or optical), eliminating the frustration of not having the right input when moving from point to point within the network.

Gives You a View to the Problem

The real-time analysis application on the MPEG Service Analyzer allows you to view all

the contents of your transport stream including; individual PID\TS descriptors and data rates, all of the table data, including: construction of an Electronic Program Guide, complete analysis details for packet loss, timing jitter, repetition rates, and much, much more!

The MPEG service analyzer supports all of the ETR101290 measurements and provides physical level measurements for all of the standard interfaces.  Decoded video thumbnails and audio levels for each program in the stream also give you that at-a-glance-check to see the quality of your MPEG services.

It’s Where You Need It

The easy-to-use web based user interface provides you with the flexibility of local or remote use.  For those tough intermittent problems the MPEG Service Analyzer can be installed in a remote location and accessed anywhere to check the status.  Through the configurable recording and versatile logging functions you can be sure not to miss the problem, no matter when it occurs.
