Sioux Falls, SD, April 1, 2005 - Sencore and Thales have designed and patented a new innovative method of insuring the integrity of all content material on a video server before it is played. Perfect for VOD applications, the new MPEGScan is designed to reside on your video server and test file conformance to your specifications and the MPEG standard.

The MPEGScan has the capability to detect MPEG errors and unwanted conditions, such as PID presence, data rate violations, table errors, dropped packets, ETR290 violations, etc. Seamlessly integrating into your workflow, the MPEGScan allows you to configure actions and notices based on any 1 error condition. After establishing ‘hot folders’ the MPEGScan operates similar to a virus check on a PC by scanning the files and looking for any content errors.
The MPEGScan is fast and powerful, providing MPEG-2 and custom template analysis over multiple file formats fast and accurately, eliminating the concerns over content integrity as it is passed from server to client or server to server.
If you would like to get more details on the New MPEGScan, call 1-800-SENCORE (736-2673), or look us up on the web at www.sencore.com
