PP5006 ProjectorPro

Projection Calibration System

Sencore announces the ProjectorPro calibration solution for precision calibration of projectors in critical viewing environments.

The PP5006 ProjectorPro is the latest Sencore innovation for precision calibration of video projection systems. The ProjectorPro is a German-engineered light analyzer with a restricted acceptance angle light window that is crucial for accurate light analysis when analyzing two-piece video projection systems. The sensor enables precise gamma and grayscale tracking adjustment to insure the most accurate representation of displayed images for video, business presentations, image analysis, or any application requiring precise projector display reproduction. From Hollywood movies to medical softcopy x-ray presentation, the ProjectorPro gets the gamma and color right – every time.

Image quality and calibration are crucial for accurate and repeatable image reproduction. The ProjectorPro provides a DICOM-compliant solution for medical projectors, supporting DICOM Part 14 projector calibration for presentation of images such as X-Rays and ultrasound, when used with the accuGray calibrations software. Users can now experience calibrated projected images for premiere visual quality in a medical imaging projection configuration. The ProjectorPro also provides a means to compensate for ambient light, screen type, and technical characteristics of the projector (such as ANSI lumens). The PP5006 features a full calibration documentation and seamless integration into existing environments.

The PP5006 consists of the color sensor, cable, tripod extension bracket, and carrying case. The PP5006 integrates with the Sencore CP5000 ColorPro software for video display calibration or with the accuGray software for medical display calibration. Installation of the CP5000 or accuGray software may be applied on as many workstations as desired, without additional license expense. This allows one Projector Pro sensor to be used to quickly perform periodic conformance testing and/or calibration on any number of projectors.

Availability PP5006: Immediate; Includes sensor, cable, tripod extension bracket, carrying case.

(Note – CP5000 or accuGray Software available separately)
