Sencore launches Caton Transport Protocols module

Sencore, the gateway to video delivery, and Caton Technology, a leading manufacturer of advance video encoding and data transmission over the Internet, have jointly announced the completion of a solution integration. Through this strategic partnership with Caton, Sencore’s line of MRD 5800/6000 decoders now supports the CTP protocol with a simple, integrated solution for assured transmission and reception.

Caton Transport Protocols (CTP), comprised of Caton’s IP transmission technologies, enables stability, quality and security for video, media, and data transmissions. With over 30 algorithms built-in, the CTP leverages machine and deep learning approaches that work to smooth and mitigate network challenges. This is coupled with Caton’s patented dynamic error corrections to recover from data loss. Sencore’s customers can now leverage CTP to enable high quality, low latency real-time video to be distributed at scale over the internet. The CatonNet Video Platform (CVP) is designed as a highly available and secure service that ensures your streams are transmitted and received over any domestic IP network without compromising on quality of speed, and has a presence in over 60 countries.
