Quad satellite RF input blade for VB120/220 systems
Supports most worldwide digital video satellite modulations including DVB-S2X
Full RF quality monitoring on DVB-S/S2/S2X signals
Broadcast network monitoring of their own satellite signals
Tracking RF quality to make decisions on dish alignment and maintenance
Tracing ingested satellite signals to all parts of a network
The VB278 is a quad port satellite monitoring blade with support for most worldwide digital video standards, and it is an integral part of the Sencore VideoBRIDGE monitoring system. Each blade has four separate RF inputs that enable monitoring of satellite RF transmissions, including support for DVB-S2X. Two VB278 blades can be installed in a single 1RU chassis together with a controlling VB120 or VB220 probe, providing eight satellite RF inputs and a high monitoring capacity occupying a minimum of rack space.
Full RF parameter monitoring is included for each RF input and tuning for each input can be fixed on a single transponder or round-robin amongst multiple transponders. The advanced RF features include constellation diagram and RF trend graphing and alarming, making it possible to check signal degredation and dish alignment at the probe location.
The full suite of digital satellite RF standards supported include DVB-S, DVB-S2, DVB-S2X, and DSS. In addition, automatic symbol rate detection makes configuration easy and requires only the frequency to be input by the user.
All this RF analysis functionality is complemented by the renowned VideoBRIDGE ETSI TR 101 290 monitoring engines, which provide priority 1/2/3 measurements of the streams carried in the RF to ensure standards conformance at all levels of the signal.
