SRV Server Series: A New Hardware Platform
Sencore will debut the SRV 19022 and SRV 19032, a new line of 1RU rackmount servers purpose-built for broadcast video appliances, industrial environments, and OEM applications. With the significant increase in cost for RAM, CPUs, and servers; Sencore is looking to fulfill a gap within the market by providing a solution that can support various industrial and edge applications for very competitive costs. Both models include three PCIe expansion slots, dual redundant power supplies, and long-life industrial components in a compact footprint. The SRV 19022 runs on an Intel Core i5 processor, and the SRV 19032 runs on an Intel Core i7 processor, giving customers a choice of performance tiers.
The SRV series gives customers a validated hardware option to pair with Sencore software platforms, including Centra Gateway. It also supports OEM branding for customers and vendors building their own appliances on Sencore’s proven hardware.
“With the SRV server series, we are giving customers a broadcast-grade hardware option that is purpose-built for the demands of live video, without the overhead of general-purpose enterprise servers,” said Seth VerMulm, Director of Product Management at Sencore.
“Paired with the updates we’re bringing to Centra Gateway, MRD 8000, and VideoBRIDGE, this is one of the most complete releases we’ve brought to IBC. Customers get more hardware flexibility and more visibility into their networks, without adding operational complexity.”
MRD 8000: Expanded Contribution and Distribution
The MRD8000 combines a purpose-built Sencore hardware platform with the flexibility and processing power of GPU-based decoding. This approach delivers a highly adaptable and scalable decoder, combining advanced performance with an accessible and cost-competitive platform.
Ahead of IBC 2026, the MRD 8000 receiver decoder line gains several exciting updates. The new MRD 80192 satellite input card adds two ports and four tuners for DVB-S/S2/S2X reception, with two DVB-CI descrambling slots. CMAF support for HLS input, PID and service filtering, and T2MI processing round out recent additions.
The MRD 80151 SDI/HDMI output card is now fully complete, with functional HDMI output and ASI ports alongside SDI. In a single-channel decoding application, one MRD 80151 card can now run genlock, simultaneous SDI and HDMI outputs, and ASI input and output at the same time.
Sencore will preview MRD 8000 version 2.2.0, which adds an analog/relay card, an 8VSB module, DVB-T/T2 and ASI input/output module, VLAN support, HTML5 overlay input, and FEC on MPEG/IP output.
This approach delivers a highly adaptable and scalable decoder, combining advanced performance with an accessible and cost-competitive platform. The MRD8000 offers an exceptional balance of flexibility, performance, and value, making it one of the most accessible and competitive professional decoders on the market.
Centra Gateway and Centra Manage: Distribution and Control
Centra Gateway, Sencore’s video distribution platform, is now available with a redesigned user interface built for greater clarity and ease of use. The streamlined interface helps reduce training and configuration time while minimizing operator errors during live events.
New monitoring graphs provide visual trend data, allowing operators to identify potential issues before they cause outages and correlate different data points for faster troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
A new alarm configuration panel also allows operators to filter, group, and prioritize alarms by severity and importance, helping them focus on the issues that matter most.
Centra Gateway also adds multi-user and role-based access with Active Directory integration, giving customers distinct audit trails and the ability to restrict external personnel to their assigned video streams. The platform is now officially validated to run at 6Gbps throughput, and customers can supply their own compatible hardware or choose a Sencore hardware option to match their environment.
FEC on MPEG/IP RTP output protects stream quality over lossy IP networks, a key requirement for customers delivering over long-haul links.
At IBC2026, Sencore will preview Centra Gateway version 1.3.0, which adds link bonding and output stream redundancy for MPEG/IP.
VideoBRIDGE: Monitoring Across IP and AV-over-IP
Sencore’s VideoBRIDGE monitoring line adds a new user interface and the VBC-LIVE feature. The VB440 gains IPMX support, TR-07 JPEG-XS support, and a lipsync feature in its stream generator, extending its analysis capabilities into AV-over-IP environments.
At IBC2026, Sencore will preview a new Playout Center feature for TS playout, along with expanded support for NAS drives to store captured streams, and a new Prometheus logging interface for system monitoring.
OmniHub 6/16 and OmniHub Play: Headend and IPTV
The OmniHub 6/16 modular headend platform adds the GATEWAY-00 module, replacing IP-00 for IP ptotocol translations like SRT, RIST, ZIXI, HLS etc..
The latest software update for Sencore’s DVB-S/S2/S2X receivers enables reception of multistream services with PLS (Physical Layer Scrambling) signals, expanding signal acquisition capabilities and providing greater flexibility for satellite signal reception.
Centra Manage integration enables centralized management of multiple chassis simultaneously, simplifying the operation of large-scale deployments. It supports bulk software upgrades, bulk configuration changes, and centralized alarm collection, reducing operational effort and providing a more efficient way to manage and monitor multiple systems.
The TXS-00 transcoder module now features a redesigned user interface, ABR transcoding, and support for MPEG-DASH and HLS outputs, providing greater flexibility for a wide range of transcoding applications.
Mutiple modulators in a single chassis can now benefit from the new NIT/LCN Wizard, simplifying network information table and logical channel numbering configuration across multiple services and reducing the time and effort required for setup.
OmniHub Play, Sencore’s IPTV system for hospitality, education, medical, and commercial environments, adds a redesigned APK user interface, six-day weather displays, and arrival and departure flight information displays.
The platform now supports Samsung Hospitality TVs running Tizen 6.5 or later, including Google Cast, and adds multi-language support for Chinese, English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Impulse 300D and 400D: Internet and RF Distribution
The Impulse 300D network decoder adds CMAF support for HLS. The Impulse 400D adds new multi-mode tuner support for DVB-T/T2, ISDB-T, and DVB-C, Centra Manage integration for centralized control.
