The Sencore DMG 7000 Transport Stream Gateway, Sencore’s most recently released platform, has been nominated for NAB Show Product of the Year. The 2019 NAB Show Product of the Year Award was established to recognize the most significant and promising new products and technologies being exhibited at the Show. 

The DMG 7000 Transport Stream Gateway’s advantage lies in its dynamic software-based design that allows broadcasters to grow and adapt distribution methods quickly as hardware platforms evolve. The DMG 7000 enables bulletproof transport stream distribution over the internet using Zixi/SRT/RIST to transmit and receive. Its field and headend models can scale from single channel or multichannel applications, while its adaptable design allows it to be deployed on COTS hardware in a variety of form factors.

Products are eligible to be named ‘Product of the Year’ in 16 categories including AI/Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Virtualization, Lighting, Radio, Storage and more. DMG 7000 has been nominated in the category of ‘Video Transport’. Winners will be announced at the NAB Show Product of the Year Awards Reception on Wednesday, April 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Ballroom A at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

The DMG 7000 will be on display at Sencore’s booth at the NAB show April 8-11 in booth SU1916.
