Sencore’s Multichannel Multiformat Receiver Decoder (MRD 7000) earns JT-NM Tested Badges for both SMPTE ST 2110 and AMWA NMOS

SIOUX FALLS, SD – Sencore, the gateway to better video delivery, participated in the JT-MN Tested event in Wuppertal Germany this past August. The event was a rousing success for the MRD 7000 – Multichannel Multiformat Receiver Decoder, and as result was awarded the JT-NM tested badges for SMPTE ST 2110 and AWMA NMOS. The JT-NM Tested Program provides documented insight into vendor conformance with SMPTE standards, AMWA NMOS specifications and performance in real-world scenarios.

Staying agile is paramount in today’s market and the MRD 7000 can deliver. Decode up to 4x services in 1RU with support for all common video codecs up to 4:2:2 10-bit 4K/UHD with HDR and WCG. The MRD 7000 supports up to 8 services (16 channels) of audio processing for MPEG1/2, AAC and Dolby AC3/AC3+/Dolby E/ATMOS. Output options include 4x3G-SDI, 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0B and SMPTE ST 2110 with NMOS support. Like all Sencore products, the MRD 7000 maintains a long tradition of ease of use, with a straight-forward user interface and web APIs and backed by Sencore’s best-in-class staff of ProCare support engineers.
