Sencore Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Sencore, a global leader in professional broadcast solutions, announced the adoption and certification of the International Organization of Standards (ISO) ISO 9001:2015 standards. ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 161 national standards bodies Through its members (the national standards bodies in 163 different countries), ISO brings together experts from all over the world to develop International Standards.

According to ISO, “ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.”

This newest certification builds upon Sencore’s existing ISO certification, ISO 9001:2008. Some of the key points of emphasis that the new standards expand on are:

  • Greater emphasis on leadership engagement
  • Helps address organizational risk opportunities in a structured manner
  • Uses simplified language and a common structure and terms
  • Encourages continuous improvements to the Quality Management System
  • Improved customer retention and acquisition
  • Ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements
